Boy pulled from pool in satisfactory condition
Jul 28, 2010 - 9:03:24 PMA 6-year-old boy who nearly drowned in a valley pool is in satisfactory condition. Ben Metzger of Casselton was taken by life-flight to Sanford medical center after lifeguards at the town pool pulled his lifeless body from the water.
Dewey vigil to be held Thursday night
Jul 28, 2010 - 9:01:21 PMOne woman is finding her own way to honor a deputy shot in the line of duty. Mahnomen County Deputy Chris Dewey was shot in the head and abdomen in February 2009. Charene Vogel of Audubon, Minnesota will be hosting a vigil on Highway 59 in Detroit Lakes Thursday night to celebrate Dewey's life.
